Dr. Agata Urbaniak is a PhD in technical sciences and a recognized expert in the field of energy transition. Her experience includes both scientific and research activities, as well as expert and management roles in key institutions of the energy sector in Poland. She has worked in research units and large industrial organizations, responsible for the implementation and supervision of R&D projects, strategic programs and initiatives supporting the energy transition.
A significant stage in her career was as Director of the Measurement and Research Laboratory Branch at PGNiG S.A. and then ORLEN S.A., where she oversaw R&D projects and developed areas related to hydrogen and biomethane, among others. She was also involved in research strategies, technology assessment and represented the organization in industry and government bodies, including the Hydrogen Accord at the Ministry of Climate and Environment and Hydrogen Europe.
