Young Scientists at Łukasiewicz
The Young Scientists at Łukasiewicz programme was created for Poland’s most talented secondary school students who have achieved finalist or winner status in national Olympiads in biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, mathematics or technical knowledge. The programme is open to applicants aged 18 and over.

What the
Young Scientists at Łukasiewicz Programme Offers?
You’ll be supported by an experienced expert who will guide your development as a researcher while sharing practical knowledge and first-hand insight. It’s a rare opportunity to learn from leading specialists in the field.
Finalists and winners of selected subject Olympiads can continue their full-time studies while working at Łukasiewicz institutes on real-world research projects.

Employment Terms
We offer an initial six-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
Your schedule will be agreed individually to fit around your studies and other commitments, with a minimum of four hours per week. The aim is to create an arrangement that works for both you and Łukasiewicz.
Your work will contribute directly to the research team’s progress, giving you a genuine opportunity to take part in innovative projects and see how research is carried out in practice.
Depending on the role and project, you may work on site, remotely or in a hybrid format.
Participation in the programme can last for up to 18 months – enough time to gain meaningful experience and discover what it is like to work in a research and development organisation.
