On 8-11 September 2026, Kielce will host the 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO), one of the most important defence industry events in Central and Eastern Europe. A strong delegation from the Łukasiewicz Research Network will take part in the exhibition, including representatives of Łukasiewicz – ITECH.
Between the 8-11of September 2026, the XXXIV International Defence Industry Fair (Międzynarodowy Salon Przemysłu Obronnego) will be held, one of the most important events in Central Europe as it concerns the defence industry. Each year, the fair attracts representatives of industry, public administration, military, and world academia, for an exhibition featuring modern technology, the exchange of experiences, and opportunities for strategic partnerships. The fair will have participating the representatives of national governments, defence ministers, military delegations, and business partners domestic and from abroad. The fair is the premiere venue for innovative technology solutions, directing the course for the development of modern defence systems.
In this year’s edition, the Research Network Łukasiewicz will be offering their own contribution. A dozen institutes will combine under one representing entity, opening potential research and development opportunities on matters of state security, and modern technology and innovation solutions for the defence sector. Łukasiewicz – ITECH will also be featured as among the comprising institutes. We will introduce the Centre for Security and Defence Innovation, whose most recent publications around technological developments for the security and defence sector shall be presented, most notably their recent report on the “Barriers to the Development of Dual-Use Technologies in Poland”, analysing the challenges facing the development and commercialisation of dual-use technologies. Moreover, we will be participating in innumerable meetings with important exhibitors and guests in both the national and international sphere visiting the fair, to promote the Institute’s activities and to network with potential partners.
