Jan Klapa is a lawyer and Europeanist. S tudied at the Jagiellonian University and the College of Europe in Bruges. As part of his academic mobility, he has also been on study stays at the University of Vienna and the University of Banska Bystrica. He gained professional experience in public administration – working in the European Division of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, as well as interning at the European Parliament. He was also program manager of the European Forum for New Ideas.
His research interests include: constitutional issues of the European Union, international commercial law, historic preservation law and systems for the protection of national minorities.
