Welcome to Horizon4Poland’25 – the largest matchmaking of innovators from around the world!

As early as November 18 this year. Warsaw will become the center of an international debate on the future of research and innovation in Europe. The modern spaces of the Museum of Polish History in Warsaw’s Citadel will host Horizon4Poland’25 – a unique conference bringing together the communities of science, business, administration and institutions supporting technological development. This year’s conference slogan is: Poland in the Horizon of Europe: Innovation – Cooperation – Development . The event was held under the patronage of the European Commission in Poland and theNational Center for Research and Development.

The conference is planned to be attended by o.k. 500 participants representing the world of science, business, administration and funds supporting research development.

Horizon4Poland’25 is a joint Lukasiewicz venture – ITECH as Project Coordinator Industry Points of Contact for Horizon Europe framework programme for research and innovation and six Branzowych Pointthat Contactsers operating within the framework of the Lukasiewicz Research Network.

What is the purpose of the conference?

As part of Horizon4Poland’25, we will focus on strengthening the participation of Polish entities in Horizon Europe, the largest European research and innovation program. At the meeting, the successes to date will be presented i identified barriers. We will also jointly build a strategy for a stronger Polish presence in the European research space.

Horizon4Poland’25 is not just a conference – it is an inspiring space for meetings and exchange of experiences, where new project partnerships and concepts for cooperation under Horizon Europe are born.

Participation in the event is a chance to:

  • Learning about the best practices and successes of Polish research teams and companies in Horizon Europe,
  • Participation in expert panels and workshops led by innovation leaders,
  • face-to-face matchmaking meetings to facilitate international partnerships,
  • Exchange of knowledge and experience with representatives of the European Commission, scientific institutions and business,
  • Co-creating a strategy for a stronger Polish presence in the European research space.
What’s on the agenda, among other things:

The event will include two panel discussions:

  • “Successes in Horizon Europe”.
  • From Lab to Market – how to effectively transfer technologies to the market?”

as well as:

  • Special session “Polish Space Heritage ” – a meeting dedicated to Polish space heritage and the growing role of our country in the European space sector.

Key highlights will also include:

  • presentations of the best Polish projects implemented under Horizon Europe by institutes of the Łukasiewicz Research Network and other partners,
  • debates on how to successfully apply, build consortia and increase project competitiveness,
  • matchmaking meetings, pitching sessions and thematic workshops to support networking of partners for future calls,
  • A discussion of Poland’s role in building Europe’s technological independence in the context of programs such as Horizon Europe and ESA.
In a unique place – the Museum of Polish History

The venue for this year’s event is also unique: it will be the it will be the Museum of Polish History at the Warsaw Citadel. In a space that recalls the efforts of Poles for freedom and independence, we will talk about modern sovereignty – technological and innovative, co-shaped by active participation in European research programs.
