We summarize the fourth edition of the program “Olympians in Lukasiewicz”

Eleven young Olympiad winners joined the 4th edition of the “Olympians in Lukasiewicz”.program, which wspiera rozwmy talented youth, via will enableenie gaincia first experiences in the research and development community. The program is a joint initiative of the Lukasiewicz Research Network Institutes, while us, as Lukasiewicz ITECH in the current edition we had the pleasure of acting as coordinator of the project.

The program was created for winners and finalists of subject Olympiads. Its main goals are:

  • Acquiring talent at an early stage and helping them choose their future career path.
  • Mentoring and individual support – The opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced professionals.
  • Combining theory and practice Through participation in research and development projects.
  • Promotion of science and innovation As an attractive career path in R&D.

It is worth noting that some of the participants of earlier editions are working today in the institutes of the Lukasiewicz Research Network. This proves that the most talented young people are looking for a space where their passion and potential will be supported by experts – and the program opens up such opportunities for them.

Effects of the 4th edition

For this year’s edition, the following have applied 19 Mentors from 7 Lukasiewicz Institutes:

  2. Lukasiewicz – Institute of Polymer Materials
  3. Lukasiewicz – AI Institute
  4. Lukasiewicz – Warsaw Institute of Technology
  5. Lukasiewicz – Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics
  6. Lukasiewicz – Institute of Electrical Engineering
  7. Łukasiewicz – PIAP

As part of this edition employed 11 Olympianswho began working at the Institutes and carrying out their first tasks under the guidance of the Mentors from this fall. The first people started working together in September, the last one on December 8.

We would like to thank all the Institutes Lukasiewicz Research Network, Mentors and people involved in the implementation of the Programwithout which efficient organizationa of this year’s edition and creating conditions for young winners of the Olympiads to gain their first professional experience would not have been possible.
