PROJECT NAME: Development of ITECH Institute competencies in analytical and strategic direction in the area of state resilience for knowledge transfer

MAIN OBJECTIVE:

The main objective of the task is to collect and transfer knowledge on state resilience by immediately starting work on the development of the Institute’s competence and gathering knowledge and resources to carry out analytical and strategic activities, which will enable the Institute to fulfill the Network’s statutory objective of supporting state economic policy (Art. 1. pt. 3 of the Law of February 21, 2019).

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

1. development of the competencies of the newly created: Department of Strategy and Analysis and specialized analysis centers – Center for Analysis and Technology Development, Center for Security and Defense Innovation, Center for Energy Transformation Research.

2 Concentration of the Institute’s competency resources within the framework of the Department and Centers indicated above to conduct analytical and advisory activities in response to current socio-economic needs.
3 Prepare analyses in the field of state resilience from a multidimensional perspective to accumulate knowledge and build a portfolio of analytical work of the Institute in the field of security and defense.
4 Widespread dissemination of analysis results, particularly through seminars, podcasts, reports and policy papers.
TASK OUTCOMES:
  • Implementation of the task will enable the Lukasiewicz Institute – ITECH to acquire new knowledge and sustainable competence in conducting strategic analysis, developing recommendations for public decision-makers and formulating conclusions in support of economic and national security policy.
  • The task will also result in the transfer of acquired knowledge to institutional practice, including the development of analytical methods and the enhancement of the institute’s ability to conduct expert work in the area of security and defense.
  • The task will also result in the creation of a network of stakeholders and a group of cooperating external experts (non-resident fellows), which will strengthen the Institute’s capacity for further analytical and advisory activities.
