These Regulations (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulations”) set out the rules of use and operation of the website available at itech.lukasiewicz.gov.pl (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).
1. The Website is operated by the Research Network Łukasiewicz – ITECH Institute of Innovation and Technology with its registered office in Warsaw (00-879), ul. Żelazna 87, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw in Warsaw, XIII Economic Department of the National Court Register under the number 0000860814 (hereinafter “ITECH”).
2. The Service may be used by any natural person (hereinafter “User”).
3. The use of the Service is voluntary. Access to the Service is free of charge, and the only costs that the User incurs in connection with the use of the Service are the costs of Internet connection to the server where the Service is placed, the amount of which depends on the duration of the connection and the tariff applied by the operator of the network the User uses.
4. The text of the Regulations is available on the Service. Users have access to these Regulations at any time and may download, record and print them.
5. The condition for using the Service is to read and accept these Regulations and comply with the rules set forth herein. By using the Service, the User declares and confirms that he/she has become familiar with the content of these Regulations, accepts its provisions and undertakes to comply with them.
6. Using the Service requires the User to have access to the following tools and to meet the following technical conditions together:
a. having a device with a minimum screen resolution of 360px wide providing access to the Internet with a bandwidth of at least 1Mb/s
b. using one of the following web browsers:
i. Mozilla Firefox version 72 or later with Java Script enabled, accepting cookies or;
ii. Internet Explorer version 11 or later with Java Script enabled, accepting cookies or;
iii. Google Chrome version 77 or later with Java Script enabled, accepting cookies or;
iv. Opera version 67 or later with Java Script enabled, accepting cookies or;
v. Safari version 12 or later with Java Script enabled, accepting cookies or;
c. use of one of the following operating systems on mobile devices, if the user accesses the Service via a mobile device: iOS, Android.
7. As part of the Service, ITECH provides services by electronic means within the meaning of the Act of July 18, 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2020, item 344) (hereinafter “Services”) consisting of :
a. Making available and displaying, on individual requests of the User, the content and materials posted on the Website;
b. Providing a contact form to enable communication with ITECH;
c. Providing a form to participate in ongoing recruitment as well as future recruitment processes conducted by ITECH;
d. enabling registration for events organized by ITECH.
8. The Service Agreement is concluded when the User starts using the Services.
9. The Service Agreement expires when the User finishes using the Services.
10. The User agrees to use the Service in accordance with applicable laws, social and moral norms and the provisions of the Terms of Use.
11. The content and materials posted on the Service are the property of Łukasiewicz – ITECH or other persons and are protected by applicable laws. Users have the right to browse the Service and print or save files with content and materials posted on the Service on a free and non-exclusive license provided that the owner of the rights is indicated.
12. trade names or other individualizing signs, including graphics, placed on the Service which are protected trademarks are subject to protection under the provisions of the Industrial Property Law of June 30, 2000 (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2020, item 286), and any use of them may only take place with the prior written consent of the authorized parties.
13. ITECH may collect personal data of Users through the Service. For more information on privacy policy and data protection procedures, please refer to the Privacy Policy available on the Website.
14. ITECH reserves the right to change the provisions of the Terms of Service. It will notify Users of any change to the Terms and Conditions within 7 days prior to the effective date of such changes by publishing the unified text of the Terms and Conditions on the Service. In the case of changes to the Terms of Service, further use of the Service is a statement of intent by the User signifying acceptance of the changes to the Terms of Service.
