“The Old Continent shaped the world’s past. It can still shape its future,” — with these words, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski concluded his speech at the European University Institute in Florence.
In a speech titled “Sources of Europe’s Strength,” the minister outlined the fundamental choice facing Europe: between fragmentation and deeper cooperation in the face of mounting geopolitical tensions.
Particularly important from the perspective of Łukasiewicz – ITECH was the technological aspect — the minister pointed out that properly managed investments in defense can stimulate innovation, create high-quality jobs, and strengthen the continent’s technological potential.
