ITECH’s Energy Transition Research Center conducts analyses of the development and implementation of modern, low-carbon energy technologies. We study the processes of transition from traditional energy sources to renewable ones, taking into account their technical, social, economic and environmental aspects. We conduct work on energy efficiency and the administrative and legal environment of the energy sector. Our goal is to support national energy and climate policy through innovative solutions and recommendations for the public sector and industry.

SECURITY AND DEFENSE

ITECH’s Center for Security and Defense Innovation focuses on research and analysis on strengthening defense capabilities, protecting the country’s strategic infrastructure, and society’s collective resilience against conventional and hybrid threats. We develop technologies and solutions to support military security, cyber security and crisis management. We collaborate with state institutions and international partners on innovations for the security sector.

TECHNOLOGY ANALYSIS AND DEVELOPMENT

ITECH Technology Analysis and Development Center is engaged in the evaluation of the environment conducive to cooperation between science and business. We study the processes of commercialization of research results and the development of tools to support technology transfer to the economy. We analyze the models adopted in this field by various countries and promote innovative patterns of cooperation between research institutions, businesses and public administration to increase the capacity of the national innovation sector through the effective implementation of new technologies and organizational solutions. We focus on the social aspect of technology development, taking into account the accompanying opportunities and risks.
