The project’s objective is to reach entrepreneurs in the SME sector and popularise knowledge concerning the green and digital transition, with particular emphasis placed on their environmental impact in the construction, recycling, and chemical-cosmetic industries. It will assist in preparing for ESG reporting, and a stable transition within organisations.
The project objectives will be achieved by implementing the following activities:
1. 1. Organisation of regional events, dedicated to select industries that are most representative of businesses in given regions. Events shall include educational workshops and personalised agendas, taking into consideration specifics of the respective industries.
2. 2. Guides on ESG explains issues to entrepreneurs related to sustainable development and explains in what way scientific knowledge may support the planning and implementation of sustainable business practices i.e. for monitoring the implementation of environmental, social, and governance indicators. The study will consist of practical tips for use by industry experts, which should expand their substantive value and future applications of the research contained therein.
3. Communications and promotion – through consistent engagement with social media and content communication on matters of sustainable development and ESG. This activity shall consider knowledge repositories about ESG, containing information about research products, scientific and expert articles, recordings, and other such items produced within the scope of this project. Effective communication makes possible the reaching of a wide audience, including representatives of individual industries in the SME sector.
4. Formation of interdisciplinary partnerships under a collaborative framework for the matter of sustainable development. This will bring together representatives from the private sector (i.e clusters, associations) and public institutions (i.e Lukasiewicz Research Network institutes, PAiH) with the objective of supporting small and medium businesses in preparing for sustainable transition, as well as in collaborating on projects through the exchange of knowledge and experience.
