The Łukasiewicz–ITECH delegation held a meeting with representatives of the Department of Asia and the Pacific at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Director Sebastian Domżalski.

This was part of the work to launch an Asian program at our Institute. Economic trends in places such as India, South Korea, and Singapore serve as an important point of reference for European efforts to achieve economic security, technological sovereignty, the effective implementation of innovation, and the creation of an ambitious industrial policy.

The impressive growth of Asian economies is fostering closer cooperation and the pursuit of synergies with countries in our region, which cannot succeed without adequate analytical and research capabilities. The discussion also covered past experiences in relations at the intergovernmental and expert levels, the identification of strategic challenges, and the directions of Poland’s foreign policy toward Asia.

The meeting was a result of participation in the program accompanying this year’s Strategic Ark dedicated to India’s pursuit of strategic autonomy and search for technological partnerships.
