Our expert’s article in the monthly “Everything that matters”

📣The problem of security, in simple terms, is what/who, where, for whom, when, and how ensures survival and the satisfaction of other contemporary needs (prosperity, development, etc.). Security is a state in which specific institutions enable this. They accomplish this through a process we might colloquially call “security.” It is a set of actions that allow us to answer the above questions (who, where, when, how…). The second element of the equation is threats. To prevent them, states must first (1) recognize them, (2) understand them, and then (3) design processes leading to a state of security.
