A Year of Change: Building a New Role for the Institute<\/b><\/p>\n
The past few months have been a period of intensive change and consistent transformation for \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 ITECH. Our ambition is to become one of Poland\u2019s leading research and analytical centres, providing knowledge, insights, and recommendations in areas of strategic importance to the country\u2019s development. We focus on issues that are crucial for the entire \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network, including defence, technological sovereignty, the energy transition, and the development of the innovation ecosystem. In this report, we present our most significant activities in these areas, key achievements, and projects carried out by our experts. We also highlight our international partners, whose collaboration helps strengthen the Institute\u2019s position within the European research and expert community. The publication includes an overview of the latest reports, analyses, and commentaries prepared by our teams, as well as a summary of the key events and discussion series launched in recent months. <\/p>\n
Ambitious Plans for the Months Ahead<\/b><\/p>\n
The report also outlines the future directions for the development of \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 ITECH. By the end of the year, we plan to publish a series of reports, policy papers, and expert commentaries addressing the most pressing technological, economic, and geopolitical challenges.
We will continue to expand our strategic programmes, including the European Programme and the Asian Programme, further strengthening the Institute\u2019s analytical capabilities in areas that are critical to economic competitiveness, security, and Poland\u2019s position in an evolving international environment. <\/p>\n
We will also continue to develop the events and dialogue platforms initiated by the Institute, creating opportunities for collaboration between academia, industry, and public administration. Among the key initiatives planned for the remainder of the year are: \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 ITECH Annual Conference \u201cSecurity for Prosperity\u201d, to be held on 14 October, as well as Horizon4Poland<\/a>, Horizon4Poland, scheduled for 3 November.
