She brings analytical and expert experience gained in institutions working on foreign policy, international security and research on Eastern Europe. <\/p><p>Before taking up her role at \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 ITECH, she worked as an analyst for EU foreign and security policy at the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pism.pl\/\">Polish Institute of International Affairs<\/a><\/strong>. Prior to that, she spent three years as Programme Coordinator for the Russia-Eurasia Programme and the Ukraine Forum at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chathamhouse.org\/\">Chatham House<\/a><\/strong>, the London-based think tank. Melania also completed a <strong>Blue Book<\/strong> traineeship at <br \/><br \/>    <strong>the European Commission\u2019s Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space. <\/strong>.<\/p><p>Melania holds an MSc in History of International Relations from the <strong>London School of Economics<\/strong> and a BSc in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience from <strong>Goldsmiths, University of London<\/strong>. In 2025, she was a fellow at the <b>Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute (HURI)<\/b> at Harvard University. She speaks English, Russian and Ukrainian.   <\/p><p>At \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 ITECH, Melania will provide the team with expert knowledge in European security and Eastern policy. Her key responsibilities will include <strong>preparing reports<\/strong>, <strong>analyses<\/strong>, <strong>policy papers<\/strong>, <strong>commentaries<\/strong> and other expert materials to support decision-making processes.
