The final of the Physics Olympiad<\/a> is one of the most important events for students interested in physics, science and further development in the field of research. This year’s 75th anniversary edition was held on April 10-14, 2026 at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Warsaw<\/a> and brought together participants from all over Poland. <\/p>

During the event, Lukasiewicz – ITECH presented the “Olympians in Lukasiewicz” program,<\/strong> aimed at young people who want to develop their competencies in the research and development environment. The institute was represented by Dr. Katarzyna Jodko-Pi\u00f3recka, Eng. <\/a>, deputy director for research, and Agata Majkowska<\/a>, project manager. <\/p>

The program is aimed at laureates and finalists of nationwide scientific olympiads, including those in physics, mathematics, computer science, chemistry, biology and technical knowledge. Its goal is to give young talents the opportunity to gain their first professional experience at the Lukasiewicz Institutes, work on research and development projects and grow under the guidance of mentors. <\/p>

The presence of Lukasiewicz – ITECH during the finals was an opportunity to talk to people who already show great scientific potential at the high school stage. The program’s presentation emphasized the importance of combining knowledge with practice, building a culture of mentoring, and creating conditions conducive to the further development of the most talented students. <\/p>

For Lukasiewicz – ITECH, participation in the event was also part of a broader commitment to developing young cadres for science, technology and innovation. As an institute operating at the intersection of research, analysis and public policy, ITECH supports initiatives that help build a bridge between education and R&D practice. <\/p>
