This year&#8217;s edition took place in sunny <strong>Brisbane, Australia<\/strong>, bringing together hundreds of experts, researchers, and practitioners from across the globe. Over the course of several days, we had the opportunity to: <\/p><ul><li><strong>present our project outcomes<\/strong> across three dedicated sessions,<\/li><li><strong>raise awareness<\/strong> of innovative solutions in sustainable timber construction,<\/li><li>and <strong>engage in meaningful international collaboration<\/strong> with partners from both Australia and Europe.<\/li><\/ul><p>A key highlight was the <strong>project meeting held on June 25<\/strong>, bringing together European and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unsw.edu.au\/\">Australianhttps:\/\/www.unsw.edu.au\/<\/a> partners, including <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vttresearch.com\/en\">VTT<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unsw.edu.au\/\">UNSW Sydney<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universityofgalway.ie\/#\">University of Galway<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.univaq.it\/en\/\">University of L&#8217;Aquila<\/a>, and Lukasiewicz &#8211; ITECH<\/strong>. The meeting provided a valuable platform to review project progress, share experiences, and plan the next stages of development. <\/p><p>Topics of discussion included:<\/p><ul><li>the latest <strong>experimental results<\/strong> generated within the CRESTIMB project,<\/li><li><strong>innovative structural solutions<\/strong> for multi-storey timber buildings,<\/li><li>Opportunities to <strong>compare approaches and findings<\/strong> with Australian research,<\/li><li>and ongoing work related to <strong>methods for assessing timber floor vibrations<\/strong>, a key aspect of modern timber system design.<\/li><\/ul><p>The meeting highlighted the importance and value of <strong>international research collaboration<\/strong>, which not only facilitates the exchange of knowledge but also helps define shared directions for advancing the field.<\/p><p>The technical dialogue initiated during WCTE 2025 has laid a solid foundation for continued cooperation, cross-validation of experimental data, and the integration of results across continents.<\/p><p>We are proud to have presented our expertise on such a prominent global platform and to contribute to the advancement of sustainable timber construction in close partnership with our international
