February was a key month for the development of a new cluster initiative, the BasaltTech Match<\/strong> project.<\/p>

Our goal is to create an effective system of matching technological potential with the real market needs of our members.<\/p>

The foundation of the project is close communication and knowledge sharing among cluster members. Recently, we have intensified work on developing common assumptions that will allow for a smooth flow of project information and faster implementation of innovations. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Needs Diagnosis: A major resource survey has been launched<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The most important stage of work in February was the development and implementation of a comprehensive survey of the needs of KPTB members. After extensive consultations with all stakeholders, we prepared the final version of the survey on identifying technology resources and challenges. <\/p>

  • Why it’s important. The results of the survey will allow us to precisely match business partners inside the Cluster. <\/li>
  • Status: the questionnaires have already been sent out. The results will be used to create a roadmap for the development of new basalt technologies in the coming quarters. <\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    New directions: Wine innovation and partnership network development<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    The PTB cluster is constantly looking for fields for technology diffusion in industries with high growth potential. One of the most promising directions, which we worked intensively on in February, is modern agriculture and food production. <\/p>

    Project to develop innovations in grapevine production<\/p>

    We have entered into extensive discussions with the Institute of Philosophy and Collective Life (IFi\u017bZ) and entrepreneurs affiliated with the Zielona Gora Business Integrator. Together we are working on a project concept in the field of innovation development in grapevine production. Our role is to implement modern cluster solutions that can significantly increase the efficiency and ecological profile of local wineries. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    February also brought new perspectives in building a membership base. We held discussions with the owners of the White Otter and Stacjomat companies. We discussed the possibility of entering into extensive cooperation with the PTB Cluster, which will allow further diversification of competencies within our organization and open new paths for commercialization of joint projects. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    February in our Cluster was marked by intensive competence building in raising funds for innovation. We realize that the key to the development of our members is not only technology, but also efficient navigation in the maze of European and national grant programs. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Horizon Europe workshop: professional application support<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    On February 11-12, our representatives took part in a specialized workshop organized by the Horizontal Contact Point Western Poland. The training was entirely devoted to preparing proposals for Horizon Europe, the largest research and innovation program in EU history.<\/p>

    By participating in this event:<\/p>

    • We gained practical knowledge about the specifics of creating project documentation in the new financial perspective.<\/li>
    • We have established relationships that will allow us to more effectively support KPTB members as partners or leaders in international consortia.<\/li>
    • We have identified specific areas where our cluster projects best fit with the European Commission’s priorities.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

      Krakow: Dialogue on financing science and the economy\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      Another important item on our calendar was the conference “Science for Society and Economy. Public funding of research and innovation in Poland,” which took place on February 17 in Krakow. <\/p>

      The event provided a platform for important discussions with representatives of local governments and other Polish clusters. We focused on the search for new models of public financing that could be adapted to the needs of KPTB. The dialogue allowed us to: <\/p>

      • Exchange of experience in optimizing cooperation on the science-business line.<\/li>
      • Discuss the possibility of joint applications for targeted funds to support regional innovation.<\/li>
      • Promotion of the technological potential of our members among decision-makers and partners from other regions of Poland.<\/li><\/ul>

        We believe that the knowledge and contacts gained in February will translate directly into success for our members in the upcoming calls for proposals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

        February is a time for the PTB Cluster to intensively build its presence in western Poland. Our strategy is to actively support Cluster members by participating in key industry events and promoting innovative solutions where investments and new business partnerships are born. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

        We are in advanced talks with the Zielona Gora City Hall and the organizers of the upcoming 32nd edition of the Building, Interior and Garden Fair. This is one of the most important exhibition events in the region, providing an excellent platform to showcase the technological potential of our members. <\/p>

        Our goal is:<\/p>

        • To reach a wide range of entrepreneurs in Lubuskie Province with KPTB’s offer.<\/li>
        • Creating a space for networking between our members and local investors.<\/li>
        • Promoting modern materials and technologies that are the hallmark of our Cluster.<\/li><\/ul>

          Invitation for Cluster Members: > We warmly encourage all KPTB members to send promotional materials, product samples and offers that you would like to present at our joint stand.           • Opportunities provided by initiatives such as the PTB Cluster in building smart urban ecosystems.<\/li>
          • The use of basalt technology and modern composites in urban infrastructure.<\/li>
          • The role of clusters as a hub connecting science, business and local government to implement green and efficient solutions for the cities of the future.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

            New cluster policy directions: Realistic impact on change and the 2035 outlook<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

            The Ministry of Development and Technology is intensifying work on a new framework for the operation of clusters in Poland. We present the key initiatives that will have a direct impact on the conditions for the development of KPTB affiliates in the coming years as presented before the Ministry’s representatives. <\/p>

            Realistic impact on change: Cluster policy team <\/p>

            A specialized advisory body – the Cluster Policy Team – is being established under the Minister. It will include, among others, representatives of the cluster environment, which will ensure direct dialogue between business and government administration. <\/p>

            What does this mean for our members? The team is tasked with identifying and eliminating legal and institutional barriers to cooperation. A key goal is to develop new, more effective financial support instruments that are better suited to the specifics of innovative cluster projects. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

            Perspective 2035: How will future support programs be designed?

            <\/h3>

            The ministry is preparing a comprehensive expert report on Polish cluster policy with an outlook until 2035. This strategic study will set standards and priorities for the coming decade. <\/p>

            Key areas of analysis:<\/p>

            • Study of the effects of cooperation: Real benefits of cluster membership will be analyzed, such as greater willingness of companies to take risks, speed of innovation implementation and efficiency of knowledge exchange.<\/li>
            • Impact on future subsidies: The results of the work, expected in Q3 2026, will become the foundation for a new generation of subsidy programs. Proving measurable gains from cluster cooperation will allow more effective application for public and EU funds for joint development projects. <\/li><\/ul>
