Dr. Tomasz Paw\u0142uszko<\/a>, a senior research specialist at the Lukasiewicz Center for Security and Defense Innovation – ITECH, gave an interview to the French weekly L’Express about the development of Poland’s unmanned aerial vehicle combat system, code-named SAN. Excerpts of his statements were published in an article by A. Hsakou, titled “A model for NATO.”<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>

In the interview, the Lukasiewicz – ITECH expert pointed to a fundamental change in the nature of the modern battlefield, in which unmanned aerial systems – relatively cheap, indiscriminate and difficult to detect – have become one of the key challenges for countries’ defense systems. Effective defense against this threat, he stressed, requires a systems approach that includes the integration of technology, procedures and operational capabilities. <\/p>

Dr. Tomasz Paw\u0142uszko also noted that the Polish Army is consistently developing anti-drone capabilities, adapting to new ways of using BSPs and working closely with the Polish defense industry. Such an approach allows building sovereign technological competence and strengthening state security in the long term. <\/p>

The French weekly’s interest in Polish anti-drone solutions and the use of the term “Model for NATO”<\/em> indicate that Poland’s experience and development directions are being closely watched by the allies today, especially in the context of the threats posed by the aggressive policies of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
