The ReConnect project<\/strong> focuses on the psychological wellbeing of teenagers, highlighting often-overlooked indicators of mental wellbeing, which form the foundation for building mental resilience \u2013 an invaluable asset in our uncertain BANI world (an acronym for Brittle<\/em>, Anxious<\/em>, Non-linear<\/em>, Incomprehensible<\/em>). <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The project will assess the practical outcomes of activities that relate to the effectiveness of methodologies designed for limiting the use of smartphones and social media, for children and adults alike. One element of the project focuses on the emerging concept of the device ReConnect \u2013 an alternative to smartphones \u2013 designed around the needs of teenagers while also incorporating digital hygiene principles. The project also formulates recommendations that contribute to the systemic support of mental health and of fostering healthy digital habits throughout society. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\ud83c\udfaf Project goal:<\/strong><\/p>

The main goal of the ReConnect project is to support the sustainable and conscientious use of digital technologies, intended to improve mental health, with particular emphasis on the mental health of children and young people.<\/p>

Specific aims:<\/p>

  • A study of social perception <\/strong>regarding the perceived benefits and risks <\/strong>associated with the use of mobile devices and social media;<\/li>
  • Analysis of attitudes towards limitations<\/strong> on smartphone use, both at home and in educational institutions;<\/li>
  • A study of the psychological correlations<\/strong> associated with the use of smartphones and social media, highlighting mental health indicators and the effectiveness of employed strategies used to limit the use of smartphones and social media;<\/li>
  • Procuring innovative solutions<\/strong> created through a participatory approach, with the involvement of potential end users \u2013 teenagers.<\/li>
  • Systemic support<\/strong> for digital education, promoting mental health and digital wellbeing. <\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
